Coming this fall, statistics focused websites

We’ve come a long way when it comes to statistics in the PrestoSports Network. What started as sharing scores and schedules with D3Scoreboard has grown to include the sharing game statistics and integration in our awards system. You're even able to stat a game with us.

We’re excited about how this technology has impacted our conference users and their members.

As we were rolling out our stats entry software, we began fielding interest from conferences and organizations whose websites were not hosted by PrestoSports. They wanted to know how the free software would translate to their websites. The more conversations we had with people, the more we realized our enhanced statistics and awards platform was really what they wanted.

Because of that excitement, we’ve worked this summer to expand our offerings to a number of organizations and conferences whose website is not hosted with PrestoSports.

Some of the groups that fall into this category include the Empire 8 Conference, Iowa Community College Athletic Conference, Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, National Junior College Athletic Association and Upper Midwest Athletic Conference. Each will be launching a stats website and most are also using the awards platform.

Right now, sports included on these sites are baseball, basketball, field hockey, football, ice hockey, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse soccer, softball and volleyball.

We think these statistics sites will be a hit with fans.

Visitors can expect to find all the features associated with the PrestoSports Network. This means complete schedules, scoreboards, standings and enhanced statistics to include leaders, team statistics and individual statistics pages for every athlete.

For members of these organizations, there are many ways to share the data. It's no extra work for those already with a PrestoSports website. All the information will sync.

Those not with us will be able to score the game using PrestoSports Stats Entry to send in-game updates to these sites. Others may score the game using Stat Crew or a similar program, and then upload the packed or XML file to the system to update the statistics. If none of these options are feasible for your staff, there will be an option to enter in stats using the scoresheet entry.

Keep an eye out for these new offerings this fall.
