Our enhanced statistics platform is great because it gives fans a fresh look and interaction when visiting your site. Stat pages are some of the most frequently viewed on an athletics website, so providing modernized pages can keep visitors much longer.

To date we have only supported fall and winter team sports, but with this week's release, enhanced stats will be ready for baseball, softball, men's lacrosse and women's lacrosse. Feel free to set up your boxscores, teams and players (leaders, too, for conference sites) and link to them once Version 4.2.3 is released later this week. We're glad that some of you have taken the initiative to set them up already, but if you have done so, you will need to delete the current stats content types and recreate them for the most recent updates to take effect.

We've also designed a box score and mini boxscore for each sport, so the auto-include feature will function the same as it does for other sports. Since baseball and softball are unique sports, we had to build the templates from scratch. That gave us an opportunity to include another new feature, a play-by-play tab, that has already been added to basketball and will soon be added to every box score in our network.

We have been working on the new stat reports internally with data from past seasons, so there might be some hidden kinks that arise as you use them for the current season. We always appreciate when you send us your feedback if you notice an issue.
