In April we blogged about some basic enhancements that we were making to our XML box scores, including adding a Play-by-Play tab for all sports. With this week's release, those changes will be finished so we are ready to move on to the next round of box score improvements.

Our box scores have historically been built for modern fans, so to satisfy your coaches' needs, we will be adding printable Coach's View versions to each box score. We have already done so for soccer and field hockey, and the other fall sports will be released next, followed by winter and spring sports.

Once we're done with the Coach's View for each box score, we'll move on to Coach's View for season stats.

All the while, we will continue to improve the web-based box scores with sport-specific information tabs. We snuck a couple in to our basketball box score before last season ended, and more recently we added a drive summary to our football box scores.

We encourage all of our clients to take advantage of the enhanced stats feature. Aside from sortable stat reports, it automatically includes a mini box score in your releases. And now that conferences can use PrestoSports to generate their weekly stat reports to submit to the NCAA, if everybody's stats are already in the PrestoSports system, that process becomes much easier.

We're happy with the progress we've made this year. Refining and improving our XML box scores is not something we've done overnight, but it is important to keep them moving forward. You have provided invaluable feedback and please continue to do so!
