Look for us at the upcoming conventions

May 30, 2013   by Jim Gehringer

As June approaches, we want to share our travel plans for the next month in hopes that we see many of you in person. We’re excited to announce that one or more staff members will be attending the CIS convention, USCAA convention, ECAC-SIDA and NACDA/CoSIDA next month. So if you’re heading to any of those events, come find us!

CIS Convention

The 2013 Canadian Interuniversity Sport Annual General Meeting will take place at the Toronto Marriott Bloor Yorkville Hotel in Toronto. Ted Bardach will be on hand from June 3-4 to discuss developments in stats entry and extending relationship with the national organization.

USCAA Convention

Members of the United States College Athletic Association meet June 2-5 at the Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel in Virginia Beach, Va. for the 2013 National Convention. I will be running a statistical training session on Monday, June 3, from 2:45-3:30 p.m. It is open to all attendees.

Be sure to email me ahead of time if you would like to schedule an individual meeting or to learn more about what we could offer your department.

ECAC-SIDA

This year, Manchester, N.H., will play host to the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference Sports Information Directors Association workshop from June 4-7 at the Radisson Hotel Manchester Downtown. AnnMarie Person will be joining me at the booth, as we look forward to seeing familiar faces and new ones during and after exhibit hours. Be sure to stop by as we demonstrate some new features and go over stats entry.

NACDA/CoSIDA

Ted, AnnMarie and Katie Butz are heading to the World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando, Fla., for the 2013 National Association of College Directors of Athletics and College Sports Information Directors of America conventions from June 12-15. Booth hours are 4:00-8:30 p.m. on Thursday and 4:00-7:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by a reception both days. This will leave plenty of time for individual meetings during the day, so contact us if you’d like to chat at another time.
