Happy New Year! Where will we see you in 2012? PrestoSports will be appearing at conventions, workshops, meetings and on campuses throughout the year.

We’re excited to kick off the year with our annual trip to the NCAA Convention. Next week, members of the PrestoSports team will be flying out to Indianapolis. If you’re making the trip, we’d love to see you there – at the trade show, at an individual meeting or at the PrestoSports happy hour.

Trade Show

We’ve added a new dimension to the trade show this year. To see how you can put money back into your athletics budget, check out a demonstration of our free Stats Entry platform at our trade show booth on both Wednesday and Thursday at 2:30 p.m.

The Trade Show will be located in the Convention Center – Exhibit Hall A. We will be at Booth #54 and open on the following days and times:

• Wednesday, January 11, 2012 – 1:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. (the Trade Show Reception starts at 5 p.m.)
• Thursday, January 12, 2012 – 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

We're giving away an iPad 2, so be sure to stop by the booth to enter the drawing.

Individual meetings

Members of the PrestoSports staff will also be available throughout the event for individual meetings. Ted Bardach, Mike Donlin, Jim Gehringer, Robb Modica and Britney Wright will be available from January 11-13.

PrestoSports Happy Hour

And of course, it wouldn’t be an NCAA Convention without the annual PrestoSports Happy Hour. So, once again, PrestoSports will be hosting clients and friends for some drinks and appetizers before you head out to dinner from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday AND Thursday night. This year’s venue is the High Velocity Grill, located in the lobby of the JW Marriott hotel.

US Lacrosse National Convention

We're also attending the US Lacrosse National Convention. We've worked with them on the Lacrosse Magazine website over the past several years and are excited to be working on a website for the 2014 World Lacrosse Championship.

Serge Knystautas and Neil Sleight will be making the trip to Philadelphia for the event which takes place January 13-15. They'll be discussing lacrosse stats entry, seeing current customers and meeting with other vendors.
