Get to know the new Help Center

Last week, PrestoSports launched its new and improved Help Center. When signed in to the back end of your site, click on the Help Center link in the right of the red task bar and you'll be taken to the updated Help Center.

The new site contains more pages, easier navigation and step-by-step videos (without sound) to help walk you through the management of your site from the simplest features like adding a section to the more complex setups like video playlists. Use the "What's Hot?" link each week to follow along with our latest blog posts and Twitter feed.

As the spring seasons wrap up, many of you are moving toward setup for the fall seasons and we hope you take advantage of the new Help Center to begin that process. In the Help Center, click on the Game day dropdown and then Seasons in the dropdown, and then select "Season Setup" in the navigation to follow the steps to create your new fall/winter seasons. Spring seasons will be available by the end of this week.

Below are the locations in the Help Center to find some other helpful hints while wrapping up the school year.

Aging rosters & roster templates - Open the Website container, click on Roster Management, then "Aging Rosters". In this section, you can also find how to add a roster template ("Adding a template") in order to make sure the same roster fields are showing from season to season.

Adding general releases - To add a release that is not sport specific when your seasons are over, you can create an article:rich in the website tab. Click on the Content type container and then "Article:rich" and you'll land on the page, "Adding a Release through the Website tab with Article:rich".

Archiving - Once your next seasons are set up with the proper navigation, you can choose to archive your past season through an archives page. For instructions on setting up an archives page, click on the Website container and then "Archives" at the bottom of the dropdown menu.

Photo Galleries - To add a photo gallery from your latest fundraiser, event or non-sport specific function, click on the Website container and then the link in the dropdown for "Photo Gallery" and follow the steps.

Scoreboards and Navigation - Once you have your upcoming schedules ready to go, you'll want to add them to your scoreboards or upcoming events tabs as well as adjust your navigation. For a refresher on this, click on the Website container and then "Scoreboards" or "Navigation" in the dropdown menu.
