PrestoSports’ product teams and user feedback

Over the past few months, we have made some exciting changes to streamline how we plan and develop new features and enhancements to our system. Instead of working under a few broad departments, we've organized into product teams.

A product team is a group of people who, when combined, have all the skills necessary to plan, develop, test and market the product they’re dedicated to.

Moving to product teams allows the experts of each product to remain close to each and every decision and stage of the product lifecycle. One key stage is user feedback. Each product team is now in direct contact with many of you to get input on existing features, new features, and to hear what new ideas you might have. All of this feedback is factored into the teams' decision making process.

Before we had product teams, we launched develop.prestosports.com to help gather user ideas and feedback. This was a single, combined forum where you could submit any and all feature requests. While it was great to have everything in one location, we've found that having each team communicate directly with its users is more beneficial and productive.

As a result, we’re transitioning away from develop.prestosports.com and are now filtering requests and feedback directly to the source: the product teams.

What happens to your old requests?

Each product team has gone through develop.prestosports.com to ensure every request has been forwarded to the correct team. All of your existing requests are still being taken into consideration and are going through each team’s feature request process. Our teams will be in direct contact with you if they need more feedback or have questions about your request.

How do your new requests make it to each product team?

When building our product teams, we intentionally chose diverse groups to ensure that we have a representative from every part of the company. From Site Development (who you work with to launch your new and redesigned websites), to Operations (those who respond to your support@prestosports.com emails), you’ll always be close to at least one member of each product team. As your feedback and requests come in, those will now be shared directly to with each product team.
