We're thrilled with the reception our stats entry app got in 2012-13. Over the past six months, 989 users entered statistics with our software for 32,733 events. 

We're hoping for an even bigger splash next year. We'd like to thank everyone who has switched to our free stats entry app as an early adopter, and with that in mind, we want to give everyone a snapshot of what will be available for next year.

Stats Entry

We had a successful first year with people using the live scoring mode of soccer, field hockey, ice hockey, basketball, men's lacrosse and women's lacrosse. Concurrently, we've been running beta testing periods for football and volleyball and are about to start one for baseball and softball. We're going to keep powering through development through the summer and fall so that for the 2013-14 season, we will support live scoring for them too.

If you can't be at the game live and want to enter stats post-game, Scoresheet mode for every sport is available as well.

Stat Crew Legacy packed file compatibility

We have always considered packed file compatibility with Stat Crew Legacy a top priority. Additionally, we remain committed to being compatible with lots of stats software, and we made a lot of strides to that end this year. It's our goal to get all stats software exporting identical XML files so they can be shared seamlessly no matter who you use, and we've been working with the other companies to make that happen. 

Here's where we stand with Stat Crew Legacy packed file compatibility:

Live Stats Partner Program

We are rolling out a stat partner developer program to make sure that live stats vendors can work successfully with our stats entry software. This includes giving them tools to help them diagnose problems you might be having when sending to their live stats service, as well as documenting game XML formats for all sports to help all vendors know the data available to them.

We currently have ESPN, CBS, SIDEARM, Neulion, and Stretch as live stats partners.

What's coming next

During the past year, developing our stats entry app was our main focus, but we managed to do some cool stuff along the way like add demos to our stats website.

Our immediate task is to finish live scoring for football, volleyball, baseball and softball so you can use it next year. If you want to be a tester for any of those sports, shoot me an email.
