Follow the AFL all season long with PrestoSports live stats

Spring is in the air, and thanks to the Arena Football League, so too are footballs. Lots of them.

The AFL kicked off its season over the weekend and PrestoSports is proud to be supplying our live stats viewer for every high-flying game this season. This is an exciting partnership for PrestoSports because the AFL is the first professional entity PrestoSports has collaborated with. Our reach within the sports website industry continues to grow!

"After extensive research, we came across PrestoSports," said Evan Vladem, Manager of Media Services and Public Relations for the AFL. "As soon as we saw the attractive viewer, its functionality and affordability, we were sold."

It was an exciting challenge for our programmers and support staff as we communicated with the AFL to customize our football live stats viewer for the AFL's unique field size and rules. We now have live stats support for three styles of football — American, Canadian, and Arena.

Live stats are an essential part of the game day experience for fans and media alike. Access to up-to-the-second information allows fans to stay more connected to the action. And media can sort through in-depth stats and identify trends.

"The most important function of live stats is for our fans and media," Vladem said. "Our goal is to give fans a total entertainment experience. For those fans not in attendance, they can track the game live on the AFL Live Channel on NiFTy TV and follow the score with the PrestoSports live stats viewer. Media members can also follow every play while in the press box, from their office or at home."

PrimeTime, our live stats viewer, has been one of the best on the market since its debut in 2009. It is unique in that it has scoreboard integration, and it provides a bevy of stats which are split up into different formats so fans can follow the game in multiple ways. And PrimeTime is easy to navigate so users can switch back and forth between views at will.

We are happy to be sharing this technology with the AFL's audience.

"The live stats viewer works great and keeps fans engaged in the game," Vladem said.
