December marks the end of the fall sports seasons and with that, awards season. With that in mind, we are happy to say that we have rolled out a number of improvements to our own awards system.

Nominating and administering all-conference and player of the week can be a hassle — particularly tracking down ballots or making sure everyone is aware of the deadlines. But we have taken your feedback and applied that to our stats-integrated awards system for your league or conference to make things easier!

Sorting made easy

Voters can now sort the nomination forms through a dropdown on the voting screen. Some of those new filters include the option to sort forms by position, year (Sr. to Fr.), student-athlete's last name, coaches rank, or even by institution. 

Automatic alerts so nominators and voters never forget

We've turned on reminders that you can send to your nominators and voters about your open awards. While setting up your awards, you can mark for the system to send a reminder when nomination and voting starts, 24-hour notifications before nomination and voting periods close, and one-hour warnings before nominations and voting closes for good. These emails will only be sent to those who have not nominated or voted, and more importantly, you can edit the reminder if voting is extended.

In addition, here are a few more tools at your disposal:

• Find by key word: From setting up awards, to nominating to voting, there is a find by key word option. 
• Download PDF: Admins can quickly dowload a PDF of the nomination form use the "Download PDF" link in options.
• Increased Points weight: We increased the point weight for awards from 35 to a possible 55 points.
• Filtering Awards: You can separate the number of selections for an award in the ranking tab to easily view the team breakdown.
