We are happy to be releasing a number of new upgrades to our system-provided schedule template.

What we had in the past

In the past, whenever you have requested a change to a schedule, we've made it manually on your site. This has resulted in thousands of customized schedule templates. With most sites having their own customized schedule template, it was difficult to roll out schedule improvements en masse.

Movement to system-provided templates

Over the last month, we have begun to roll out our new system-provided schedule template to existing sites. It's also been a standard feature for all new launches. The new template allows you to customize things like layout, schedule fields, date format and results format using the Options file. A manual change is no longer needed.

Previously, especially for non-network sports, all schedules used the same fields in the same order. With the new schedule template, you have the flexibility to change and re-order the labels and fields to accommodate the scheduling needs of each individual sport.

Networked sport schedules have received an upgrade as well. If you use enhanced stats, statistics can now be seen at the top of your schedule.

We haven't forgotten about responsive design through all this either. The new schedules have been developed to look good on your phone, your desktop monitor and everything in between.

Future improvements

With the launch of our develop.prestosports.com website, our logo database is now complete. Much like the customized schedule we created for ECAC Hockey, we are working on the development of an option that will allow you to show line scores and logos in your schedules.

Other enhancements we're looking at include the addition of brackets so tournament schedules look better and even more options that will allow you to make your schedules unique. Stay tuned!
