As all of your student-athletes return to campus in the coming weeks, it can be easy to get caught up in the excitement of the new season. Showing off the many accomplishments of your former student athletes sometimes gets lost in the shuffle of photo galleries, post-game interviews and game notes.

Corey McCarthy, Sports Information Director/Event Staff Coordinator at Saint Joseph's College of Maine, saw the headshot roster pages that were released earlier this summer as a great way to easily show off his program's Hall of Fame.

He created consistently styled black and white photos and wrote bios for each piece of history he wanted to share, whether it was the conference champion 1977 baseball team or one of the many Saint Joseph's hall of famers.

The new look allowed him to feature these bios into a great-looking yearbook layout that gives fans the ability to read the full history. Each piece is easy to share on Facebook or by email, making it easy for fans to share these stories as well.

Want to set up a similar Hall of Fame section on your web site? It is as simple as creating a bio for every member of the hall and then featuring those bios to a roster — just like you would for every other roster. Then, enable the headshot view in your options file.
