The games of the XXX Olympiad officially open on Friday. This year's games will have more live action available than ever before and I couldn't be more excited about checking everything out. I have officially moved myself into our conference room just to reserve a good spot in front of the TV.

With the calendar about to flip to August, we also know this is the time of year you are making final preparations for the the fall season. In June we sponsored the first PrestoSports Stats Entry contest around a Euro 2012 soccer match. It was such a hit that we're doing it again.

We are pleased to announce there are three opportunities to try out our stats entry app during the Olympics.

• Monday, Aug. 6, 3:00 pm (EST) on NBC Universal: Men's Basketball — Spain vs. Brazil
