Featured User: Scott Musa, Shenandoah University

Our users spend a lot of time updating and managing their website. Showing off their site is something they are proud of. Similarly, we love to show off when our users make great use of their website, take advantage of a new feature, share a good idea, help us develop new features, and more. That's why we decided to start a new series of "Featured User" posts, where we want to showcase specific examples of this.

Summer is a good time for everyone to take a breather from the hectic in-season tasks and start preparing for next season. Through Game day, we’ve built a number of features which, with a little bit of setup, will make your job easier throughout the entire season.

Scott Musa, Assistant AD/Athletic Communications Director at Shenandoah University, takes advantage of a number of these features, particularly ad-hoc autolinks.

Most of you are familiar with auto linking athlete bios. As you write a release, the athlete name will automatically link to the bio page.

Auto linking in your releases doesn't have to be just for your athlete bios. Scott has used the ad-hoc autolinks page to set up auto links for his coaches, opponents and conferences. Now when he uses the key words he's set up through Game day, the names will automatically link to the conference website, opponent website, etc. If you type and manually link the same opponent name over and over, this can save you a lot of time!

Want to set up ad-hoc autolinks on your site? Click [manage season] for any sport in Game day, click into the Releases tab, and then click "ad-hoc autolinks". Visit the Help Center for full step-by-step instructions.
